Post-apocalyptic Tokyo

Hisaharu Motoda is said to be regarded by many as one of the rising stars in the world of printmaking. See how he depicts post-apocalyptic Tokyo’s central districts of Ginza, Shibuya, and Asakusain in his work called Neo-Ruins:Lithographs of post-apocalyptic Tokyo. I don’t really get why Japanese artists are fond of destroying Japan in their works.

Here’s something for a start, my recent favourite Japanophile who is no other than Danny Choo. I recently stumbled upon his website and damn! i was in for a treat! In there you’ll find massive info and links from Anime DVDs to Adult goods(*ehem*). Did i forget to mention that Mr. Danny Choo takes awesome snaps of stuffs? Yes, the site has galleries of various things Japanese. And for a small proof let me introduce you to Mai Shiranui

I’m not really into Japanese dolls but when i saw this my nose bleed a bit. So here’s more of Mai on Moeyo(in Japanese) and still more. Also I think it is the same one i saw on Japanorama I’m not sure though let me watch it again.

Welcome to Hyper Japan! If you like everything Japanese then bear with me as I try to catch up with my favorite Japan blogs all over the web.
